Beware of SMS Spoofing 🔒📱

Dear Viewer, Did you know? Cybercriminals are using SMS spoofing to take over your UPI account. Here's how fraud is happening... Attackers send malicious files/links through WhatsApp in the name of a hospital appointment, hotel booking, or courier delivery assistance. As soon as you click the file/link, an SMS triggers to your bank to start registration. The attacker then completes the UPI registration process on the malicious device. Finally, the attacker after taking control of your UPI account uses social engineering tricks to get your MPIN. We therefore advise you to take extra caution while opening files/links received through WhatsApp from untrusted accounts. Stay Alert. Stay Safe. Warm regards, The IT Home Connect with us :
